The St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation funds small and medium-sized charities across the UK and overseas. They are currently one of the largest corporate foundations in the UK, supporting hundreds of charities every year through our grant-making programmes. Many of their charity partnerships go beyond funding, as they also seek to provide a deeper level of support and add value through the SJP community volunteering their time and skills, helping to deliver an even bigger impact.

The Foundation was set up in 1992 as a way for the staff and advisers of St. James’s Place plc (SJP) to give back to their communities. Their funds are primarily raised through the generosity, time and effort of the St. James’s Place community. All monies raised are then matched £1 for £1 by St. James’s Place plc, making their donations go twice as far.

Simon Wade, a financial advisor at St James’s Place Wealth Management, who has been the lead of this support said:

“I was introduced to NKMT by Diana Campbell (NKMT’s Marketing Manager) whilst having a business networking 1-1. When Diana told me about the work which NKMT do especially on the research side, this intrigued me as I have relatives who have suffered from strokes and friends of the family who have had TIA’s. Therefore, I asked to be introduced to Fiona to see if there was anything which I can do.

When I spoke with Fiona and heard about her sister Natalie’s story, along with the work which the charity is doing to try and break new ground and to help educate people, I wanted to see if we could help and fortunately was in a position to do so.”

Over the last 12 months, The Natalie Kate Moss Trust has increased it’s corporate support by a staggering 693% YTD, demonstrating, not only the significant growth of the charity over the last year but also the recognition from companies of the vital importance of the work being done at NKMT.

At NKMT we see our partnerships as just that, partnerships. And therefore, as our partners support us, we hope to support them, their company and their employees as much as we can. Whether that is through helping them to deliver engaging events or challenges to bring their team together and build internal relationships, or, by delivering a Lunch and Learn session to their employees to help them manage their blood pressure to help prevent brain haemorrhages. We also support our partners by promoting their company, and our partnership, via our different channels (including but not limited to running vests, website, socials). Each partnership is created exclusively for each business depending on their charitable objectives, and the services they offer, and NKMT are open to discussing what this could look like.

At NKMT our mission is clear; to bring conversations about the reality of brain haemorrhages to the forefront to not only create awareness of it but change it too.

But we can’t do this alone.

Are you looking for a charity partner for 2025? Or perhaps you want to sponsor an event or take on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks as a team for charity. Whatever your charitable objectives are, we would love to hear from you.

By partnering with NKMT your company will not only be associated with an evolving, disruptive, charity that is committed to changing the landscape of Brain Haemorrhages, but you will play a vital role in helping to save more lives from this devastating condition.
